In the Heights
Music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda ("Hamilton", "Moana") and book by Quiara Alegría Hudes, "In The Heights" is a contemporary musical about immigrants and children of immigrants, learning where home is during an eventful few summer days in the Manhattan neighborhood of Washington Heights. The music features a wide variety of styles, including the rap and hip hop that connected a new generation to musical theater. February 28 - March 9 2019 at the Hirsch Theater Beit Shmuel.
