Heathers
This year, the 80s are back - with a vengeance! Starcatcher and the Incubator's production of the cult dark comedy musical Heathers! Based on the 1989 film of the same name written by Daniel Waters, this rock sensation features music, lyrics and book by Laurence O'Keefe and Kevin Murphy. At Westberg High, the powerful clique of three Heathers rule the school with iron fists (and scrunchies) in a cutthroat social environment where the stakes are as high as it gets. When Veronica befriends the mysterious JD, things take a dark turn. Veronica is then confronted with some moral decisions on how she can make her environment a better place with the entire fate of the school lying in her hands. Performed at the Beit Mazya Theater between March 3rd-26th 2022.
