We’d like to take this opportunity to share our excitement with you. There are many aspects of this show that are incredible, but here are a few we’d like to highlight.

1. Deadly Dances
You will be blown away by the fabulous choreography this show has to offer. Based on the style of the original choreographer, Bob Fosse, our choreographers, Yaeli Greenblatt and Danny Freedman, have found a way to bring the themes of this show to life through movement. Having an experienced group of dancers, we are able to execute everything from intricate isolations to impressive lifts. Our super talented performers are given the chance to shine on stage as their characters dance their way out of the courtroom and into the limelight.

2. Sinful Songs
One of the most famous elements of this show is the score. Written by Kander and Ebb, the 1920s are given new life when the orchestra play their first note of the “Overture”. Some of the most popular songs of musical theater, such as “All That Jazz” and “Cell Block Tango”, are part of this scintillating score. Bringing their powerhouse voices from cities throughout the country, our actors lay it all out on stage. From belting high notes to singing soft, vulnerable melodies, they will have you sitting on the edge of your seat, waiting to hear more. They are led by our musical director, Jeff Rosenschein, as he conducts the cast in producing the jazzy and seductive sounds of Chicago.

3. Captivating Cast
A fun aspect of putting on a show is all of the preparation that happens before we even set foot on stage. Our cast is comprised of all types of people, from teachers to professional ballerinas, olim and sabras, who all come together to perform for you. You will witness a show built by a true, diverse community of Israelis with talents in singing, dancing, acrobatics, acting, and more.

4. Stunning Set
Making the magic come alive, our set is designed with the influence of art-deco, while maintaining our signature Starcatcher style. Our set and lighting designer, Eli Kaplan-Wildmann, brings his creativity and minimalistic approach, ushering the audience into the reality of Razzle Dazzle.

5. Thrilling Theater
All of these elements come together in our gorgeous theater, Beit Shmuel. Performing in such a large space gives us the ability to go all out and create a spectacle for our audience members. The stage allows us to perform elaborate dance numbers as we use the space in its entirety for our tricks, flips, and lifts.

To sum it up, this show is going to be absolutely fantastic and we invite you to join us this March. Although the audience will be watching this show in Jerusalem, they will be transported to the glamorous and corrupt world of Chicago in the 1920s.
